SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS 

About the Scholarship Program 

EYSA scholarships help children who would otherwise be unable to participate in sports. Funds are limited and awarded first come, first served during open enrollment. Only parents or legal guardians may apply. One scholarship covers one athlete for one sport; a new application is required each season. 

Eligibility Requirements 

• Athlete must live in or attend school in the Eatonville School District. 

• Commitment to attend at least 80% of practices and games. 

• Applicant is not receiving other fee waivers/scholarships. 

• A family member must volunteer 1 hour for every $15 awarded (fundraising, bake sales, coaching support, etc.). Hours must be completed by the final game of the season. 

Financial Need Criteria 

Applicants may qualify by providing: 

• Proof of state assistance (TANF, SSI, food stamps, foster care, etc.) 

• A written recommendation from a school, social services, or community representative 

• Documentation of immediate financial hardship 

Confidentiality 

All information is used solely to determine eligibility and will remain confidential.
